There’s certainly no shortage of amazing activities in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras and Tulum in Mexico’s Riviera Maya… And while the area’s various Experiences Xcaret adventure parks offer a dizzying array of exciting activities and entertainment options to suit virtually every skill level and budget, sometimes a nice long relaxing day at the beach simply sounds better than getting up early for a guided tour!
Other times, it may feel like there just aren’t enough hours in the day to experience all the different excursions that are available in the Riviera Maya region, which is popular for its ancient Mayan ruins and rich cultural history, pristine white-sand beaches and a variety of other activities that simply can’t be found anywhere else in the world. Fortunately, Xplor Park by Experiences Xcaret offers a solution with Xplor Fuego, where extreme nighttime adventures are waiting each day when the sun goes down.
Xplor Fuego vs Xplor Park
At Xplor Fuego, guests can enjoy all of the adventures Xplor Park offers, only after dark! Available activities include ziplining under the stars and driving amphibious vehicles along an illuminated jungle trail, as well as rafting on the underground river and exploring the park’s breathtaking caves. Xplor is home to the tallest zip-line circuit in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, which can accommodate two people at a time. Other activities at Xplor and Xplor Fuego include swimming in a stalactite river and - finally - splashing around in comfy hammocks when it’s time for a break!
Situated just south of downtown Playa del Carmen and just north of Puerto Aventuras, Xplor is easily accessible from anywhere in the Riviera Maya region. Xplor Fuego also offers a mouthwatering BBQ buffet dinner with fresh vegetarian options that’s available throughout the evening and included with the price of admission, which is just $89.99 USD for adults and $44.99 for children between 5-11 years of age. The park is open Monday through Saturday from 5:30 - 11:30 p.m.
