After much speculation over the past two years, this weekend confirmed that DreamWorks animation studios will operate not just one but two theme parks in Punta Maroma, which lies just north of Playa del Carmen and just south of Cancun in the heart of Mexico’s Riviera Maya. As a father of 2 young kids who love the warm turquoise waters,white sandy beaches, snorkeling and – of course – the amazing parks that already exist in the area around Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Parks like Xcaret, Xel-Ha and Punta Venado Eco Park are part of what makes living in the Riviera Maya so amazing… I thought there was NO WAY anyone could make this area any better for families and travelers on vacation.
