While the official hours for the event are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.,there are days – such as Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 – when the Art Walk becomes an all-day affair that is open and free to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Due to the event’s increased popularity,the local government in Cabo has opted to close the main street to motor traffic during the Art Walk in order to accommodate all of the visitors.
“Most of the galleries open their doors on Thursday evenings,offering wine and hosting special events such as bringing in artists or showcasing exhibitions and openings,” writes TravelPulse. “With a surge in visitors over the years coming to explore the city center,numerous eclectic restaurants have [also] opened their doors.”
Visitors should check out Cabo’s Jazmin Restaurant,which lies just beyond the arts district on a quiet street,as well as the Baja Brewing Company outpost in San Jose del Cabo,which lies in the very heart of the city’s art district.
