Mexico's largest ever international archery competition was held at the Tijuana
Training Center in Baja California last week.
Hundreds of athletes of all
ages from around the world competed in the 2009 Mexican Grand Prix,which was an
International Federation of Archery
World Ranking Tournament.
Amongst the medal winners were archers from
Mexico,the USA,Venezuela and India. The tournament was divided into 30
sections,depending on the age,sex and background of the
The overall winner was Luis M. Alfaro from Baja California,
with Hafid Jaime from Mexico City and Armando de la Garza from Nuevo Leon coming
a close second and third.
