A Journey Into Paradise

Playa del Carmen Real Estate to Host 6th Annual BPM Festival

06 January, 2013

Following the huge success of last year’s venue, the sixth annual BPM Festival will bring some of music’s hottest DJs and other electronic acts to Playa del Carmen,Mexico, from January 4-13. This ten-day celebration of music attracts partygoers, promoters, musicians,DJs and managers from around the world to Playa del Carmen real estate, filling the town’s beaches and clubs with revelers both day and night.

Playa’s BPM Festival was developed as a way for visitors to escape the winter and post-holiday doldrums to enjoy music and dancing in this sunny vacation hotspot. In fact, what makes the BPM Festival unique is that it not only offers fabulous music, but the party is situated in the heart of the stunning Riviera Maya, which provides visitors with easy access to the fabulous white sand beaches of Mexico’s Caribbean coast, close to the lush jungle and plenty of ancient Mayan ruins.

“There are a lot of  daytime and nighttime events,as well as lots of after parties sprinkled in between,” writes VIBE on its Playa del Vibe blog. “Eat healthy, make sure to get enough sleep, drink and party in moderation and pick your battles!”

The BPM Festival 2013 has quickly become one of the top international venues for DJs and producers involved in the electronic dance music scene. In 2012,the gathering hosted more than 35,000 revelers and saw more than 50 events scheduled throughout the ten-day period. This year, more than 100 world-class artists are scheduled to return, which promises to make 2013 an even greater success.

“The festival affords plenty of space, time and opportunity to meet people on a level as they recline in the blissful setting of a white sandy beach surrounded by lush, tropical plantations,” writes globally-respected clubbing publication DJ Mag.

The festival was also named  one of the “10-Best International Parties” according to Mixmag, and Resident Advisor named it “one of the key stop-offs on the international festival circuit.”
