Sol Melia to Open Two New Resorts in Playa del Carmen Real Estate

The exclusive all-inclusive Paradisus resort brand,which is owned and operated by the highly successful Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts,has announced that it plans to open two new luxury Mexican properties,the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Esmerelda and the Paradisus Playa del Carmen La Perla,in late 2011. The two new properties will undoubtedly become the region's finest and most celebrated all-inclusive resorts,featuring dramatic free-form pools,manicured landscaping,a YHI spa,numerous fine dining establishments and exciting nightlife hotspots at both locations.

"Paradisus La Esmeralda and Paradisus La Perla were designed specifically to cater to our guests' needs," said Alvaro Tejeda Schroder,Senior Vice President for Sol Melia's Premium Portfolio of hotels.  "This is the latest example of how the Paradisus brand has further raised the bar in regards to the service we provide our loyal guests and the experience they have come to expect from our world-class resorts."

Paradisus La Perla is the brand's first adults-only destination,with nearly 400 elegant guest suites,120 Royal Service Suites,two Royal Service Presidential Suites and 60 swim-up suites that allow guests to enjoy direct access to the pool. In addition,guests staying in the Royal Service suites will receive access to a private pool and beach with their own bar and restaurant,as well as the first choice on reservations at the resort's spa,restaurants and activities.

Sharing a common area with Paradisus La Perla,the Paradisus La Esmeralda will boast more than 500 luxury suites,56 swim-up suites,more than 120 Family Concierge suites and two Presidential Suites. The family segment allows for two and three-bedroom suites,as well as an exclusive family friendly restaurant,"tear-free" in-room bath products,milk and cookie turn down services and a wide variety of family activities. 

The common area that is shared by the two resorts,known as El Zocalo,which is a Mexican cultural term that refers to a city's social center,and it is home to a 20,000 square foot YHI Spa and Health Club for use by guests at both resorts.  Both resorts will be a welcome addition to Playa del Carmen real estate.
