In late March the Grand Coral Riviera Maya resort in Playa del Carmen real estate announced it has completed its third phase of development, which includes an impressive new golf course that was designed by South African PGA tour legend Nick Price, along with a number of luxurious new real estate offerings.
With more than 225 acres of total land that includes 2,500 feet of beachfront property, the Grand Coral Riviera Maya offers a wide variety of world-class amenities and blends nicely with the the surrounding landscape. In addition to the new golf course, the resort offers an exclusive clubhouse and beach club, along with close to 50 lots open for development that are about 2.5 acres each. These are designated for a variety of uses, including residential, tourism and trade.
Already known as Latin America's "Golfing Capital," Mexico's Riviera Maya is also becoming a well-known destination for golf course real estate, which brings together in one place direct access to the game and the luxury lifestyle that is associated with it. The area just north of Playa del Carmen that surrounds the Grand Coral resort is already home to three of the area's 13 golf courses and offers buyers from virtually any budget access to golf course condos and a variety of luxury Mexico real estate opportunities. Within Grand Coral itself you can find the luxurious beachfront Mareazul condos and also the Nick Price Residences.
Developed by Grupo Grand Coral and located just a quick 30-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport, the Grand Coral Riviera Maya plans to preserve at least 75 percent of its total green areas, waterways and other areas of ecological importance. This new development, which brought in around $2 billion investment dollars,is just the latest example of a multitude of combined tourism and real estate opportunities that are located throughout the entire area.
