Riviera Maya Bullet Train Will Begin Construction in 2019

A new high-speed bullet train is coming to Mexico’s Riviera Maya and construction is scheduled to begin in 2019 according to Quintana Roo senator-elect José Luis Pech Várguez. The visionary project was a campaign proposal made by president-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador and will connect major tourism hotspots and vacation destinations like Cancun, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and Tulum with a variety of archaeological zones in Campeche and Chiapas.

Inflatable Water Parks Coming to Cancun and Riviera Maya, Mexico

Local government officials announced recently that new inflatable Wibit water parks have been approved to open in Cancun and several other locations in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. According to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the project will be operated by Float Fun Entertainment and the Wibit water parks will encompass approximately 3,000 square meters of ocean in select locations in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum.
