After years of threats and extortion of the company, it has come to our attention that former Investment Properties Mexico (IPM) employee Sean O’Neal has finally pled guilty to wire fraud in the United States District Court of Nebraska and will be detained behind bars pending sentencing. Specifically, O’Neal has pled guilty to defrauding an elderly woman in the amount of $375,000 and to attempting to intimidate or stop material witnesses from testifying in this case.
As part of O’Neal’s plea deal, an additional four counts of wire fraud, as well as one count of cyberstalking and one count of witness tampering were dropped. His sentencing hearing is set for January 23, 2020, when he will face up to 20 years behind bars.
The investigation into O’Neal’s fraudulent activities has also revealed that he was defrauding the public in California leading up to his arrest. He was caught selling Promissory Notes under the alias “Sean Ryan,” which prompted the issuance of a Cease and Desist letter from the State. In addition, O’Neal is currently wanted for the rape of a 16 year-old-girl in Mexico and Interpol agents are processing the case. As a result, it is likely that he will be deported to Mexico where he will stand trial after serving his current sentence.
