Over the past several years, if you’ve stayed in a condo on or near the beach in Tulum with your family, you have probably seen the prices go up and the availability go down, while the amenities and luxury factor, for the most part, has remained the same.
Tulum is located in the Mexican Caribbean just south of Cancun and downtown Playa del Carmen. A wide range of vacation homes and rental properties already exist here at a wide range of prices, so next you’ll probably begin digging deeper to see which properties have the most amenities (an on-site restaurant, shuttle service to the beach, etc.). At this point, I am sure you can see where I am going with this hypothetical situation, because it’s becoming less and less hypothetical for many savvy travelers.
