Claudia Ruiz Massieu,Secretary of Tourism for Mexico inaugurated on behalf president of México Enrique Peña Nieto the 10th edition of the Financial Times Business of Luxury Summit organized by the Financial Times where she claimed that Mexico is among the 10 most attractive countries for investment. Also pointed out that the tourism industry in Mexico has the ability to generate opportunities for public-private partnerships.
Based on AT Kearney ratings,Ruiz Massieu mention that Mexico is positioned in place nine of the 25 most attractive countries for investment globally,the above is the result of structural reforms initiated by the federal government looking to make Mexico a more competitive place.
The head of Sectur said that the tourism strategy is to increase the competitiveness of products and project Mexico as a safe and reliable country with international quality services.
She also noted that in the area of luxury tourism,it has a wide range of accommodation and services and a level of care that can hardly be found in other countries,making the supply of Mexico highly competitive in the world counting with ample opportunities for investment.
"More investment creates more jobs,which translates into better opportunities for economic development,increasing purchasing power,the setting of an economy moving and puts Mexico as an attractive country in the eyes of the world community.”
