Hi All … Today I wanted to chat a little bit about what is happening in the gorgeous gated community of Puerto Aventuras real estate,an amazing place that I have the pleasure of calling home. Over the last 10 years Puerto Aventuras has changed tremendously as this small tranquil bay has become the grand master development marina/golf course community it is now. The second highlight of the New Year is the news about extending the beach and installing an eco-friendly artificial reef. The artificial reef will be an extraordinary project and something I am very excited about getting personally involved in. The artificial reef is not only going to restore the damaged reef from Hurricane Wilma years ago but it’s also going to help bring new sea life to the protected bay. Although restoring the ocean life is a huge plus the ultimate goal of the new reef is to extend Puerto Aventuras’ beach an extra 45m in width.
Another great attribute to the community will be the private airport being installed right across the street. Now I know what you are thinking … loud 747’s zooming overhead every 10 minutes … right? Well don’t worry about that as it will be a private airport and for those who are familiar with the airport in Playa del Carmen you understand that it’s quite a treat to see one of the small sensors or private jets discretely glide overhead. Nevertheless a private airport right across the street will bring more activity to the community and more high-end investment dollars.
Finally,the most exciting part for our current property owners and new comers alike is the final marina front section of PA. This is the last piece of the puzzle and it will not disappoint. Phase 4 will be the high-end and affluent section of the Puerto Aventuras expected to be completed by the years end. Consisting of two entrances,the first being located right off of the federal highway and the second being within the community itself,sectioning off phase 4,adding extra security and making for a very exclusive and sought after residence. What I really would like to get across is the value of phase 4. With 15x50m marina front lots starting at only 400k the developer has agreed to financing the lots at 0% interest … you can’t beat it. When comparing the same marina front lots to Cancun you will be looking at 800k per lot.
