Mexico Part Of G20 Summit In London

Mexican President,Felipe Calderón,is in London in the United Kingdom this
week. He is representing Mexico at the G20 Summit to discuss global economic
issues. Mexico is a member of the important G20 group of 20

The summit aims to bring world leaders together to make
commitments to stabilise financial markets,reform and strengthen the global
financial and economic system and put the global economy on track for
sustainable growth.

At a dinner in honor of the Mexican President held by
the Lord Mayor of the City of London last night,President Caldrerón said the
Mexican economy is modernizing rapidly and no longer depends on the export of
primary materials. He said that today,the majority of exports are manufactured
goods and that the sectors of finance,telecommunications and tourism are

President Calderón went on to say that Mexico's economy and
public finances are in good order and the country is in an strong position to
overcome the current global economic crisis successfully.
