Obama To Discuss Drug War With Mexican President Calderon

News agency, the Associated Press, said on Wednesday that President Barack Obama will travel to Mexico next month on his way to the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad, to be held April 17 - 19, 2009.

The agency reported that Obama told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus that the trip would include meetings with Mexican President,Felipe Calderon. They quoted the President as saying he would discuss with Calderon, "the deep and comprehensive US-Mexico relationship, including how the United States and Mexico can work together to support Mexico's fight against drug-related violence and work toward effective, comprehensive immigration reform."

Obama and Calderon met in Washington just before the US President was inaugurated, making this Obama's second meeting with Calderon in 2009 and his first as President.
