The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) has once again released its annual list,naming the top “2013 Hotspots for Summer.” This year,both Cancun and Mexico’s fabulous Riviera Maya have made the short list,coming in at numbers four and seven,respectively.
In fact,Cancun’s place at number four marks this tropical getaway destination’s fourth consecutive year of earning this spot. To make the cut,Cancun real estate attracted six percent of the total vote. In addition,overall travel and tourism in Mexico has risen since 2012 according to the survey results,which are right on trend with a growing number of other respected analysts and international reporting agencies that have released positive tourism data for Mexico this year.
To meet the sharp rise in demand and growing influx of visitors,Mexico’s entire Riviera Maya region – including Cancun – is stepping up its game when it comes to providing the very best in luxury,value and state-of-the-art technology. Cancun’s AAA Four Diamond Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort has announced the completion of a $55 million makeover that included updates to all of the property’s 400-plus rooms,new meeting spaces,restaurants and a wave simulator machine.
