The Viceroy Riviera Maya – formerly known as the Tides Riviera Maya – has completed a total renovation and rebranding effort to improve the luxury and comfort of the resort,which lies on the Caribbean coast of Mexico real estate,the Yucatàn Peninsula. It is situated just a few miles from Playa del Carmen and just 40 miles south of the vacation hotspot Cancun,offering easy access to the International Airport.

The renovation included the addition of 11 new luxury ocean-view villas,complete with plunge pools,which increased the resort’s total number of villas to 41. In addition,several restaurants were added,including La Marea,which offers fine dining,and the Coral Grill,which lies on the beach and features a casual atmosphere. The resort’s original 29 villas also received a makeover that included new furniture,lighting and updated décor. Finally,the resort now offers a new fitness center that is complete with ocean views and state of the art equipment,as well as a new retail boutique and a lending library with comfortable seating that also offers beverages and snacks.
