According to TravelPulse.com,the new Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, which is scheduled to open in early 2013,has announced that it will offer a variety of “enhanced ocean activities” for guests to enjoy. According to the article, the resort plans to offer activities such as water slides, zip lines,a sunken reef and a swim up bar,all located in the ocean itself close to the resort.
“We’re elevating the ocean experience and labeling it better than a beach,” shared Frank Maduro, who is vice president of marketing for the All-Inclusive Collection, during a weekend of festivities celebrating the recent opening of the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. “We’re really changing up the way people think and look at all-inclusive resorts. Now,no longer will they think,‘Yeah, they have all drinks and meals.’ Now they can enjoy a full family or couples’ experience within the destination.”
The Hard Rock All-Inclusive Collection in Mexico also includes the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta, which both opened this summer. Having the Hard Rock brand open locations in Cancun and Riviera Maya real estate has been highly anticipated, due to the positive impact it is expected to have on the region’s already booming economy.
The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya will offer “rock star treatment” for couples, families and kids. It is designed to accommodate both families and adults, with separate areas that will allow the resort to offer its unique,all-inclusive experience for guests of any age.
The family area will include close to 500 guest rooms, three tantalizing restaurants,a new dinner theatre venue, four bars (for the adults,of course),a variety of pools and water activities,as well as a teen club that is complete with its very own gaming cabanas. The adults-only area of the resort is home to 777 private guest rooms, four excellent restaurants, four bars,a number of pools and one of the top-rates spas in the region.
