Mexico's peso recovered against the U.S. dollar this week,reaching its highest
level since last December.
A rise in commodities and stocks helped demand
for emerging-market assets. Oil,Mexico's biggest export,increased as much as
6.2 percent in one day.
At 2.49pm Eastern Time today,the Mexican peso
was worth 7.624 U.S. cents (1 USD = 13.1170 MXN).
